“The Otter Family” was conceived to play on the name of the Little Rock community of Otter Creek. Otter Creek is a bedroom community of young families, creeks, woods, and homes in a natural setting. The Oley E. Rooker Library is one of the pillars of the community and center of activity. It resides just outside the plate glass window in the children’s book section and can also be enjoyed by the cars passing by on busy 5-lane Stagecoach Road (Hwy 5).
